Where We Serve

Astronomical observation and aerial photography

UHC light damage filters, astronomical narrowband filters, and infrared transparent acrylic components are used for deep space photography and long-term exposure.

What do components in this industry have to carry

The main components of urban light pollution are the spectral lines of sodium lamps and mercury lamps. The task of astronomical filters is exactly the opposite: to block these narrow spectral lines and miss the emission lines of nebulae such as H α, O Ⅲ, and S Ⅱ. Long term exposure is more demanding on the parallelism, light transmission uniformity, and coating firmness of components than daily photography.

Common components

  • UHC light damage suppression filter: dual-use for visual and photographic purposes
  • H α/O Ⅲ/S Ⅱ narrowband filter: for deep space photography, matched by aperture
  • Infrared Cut off Filter and Infrared Pass through Filter: Planetary Photography and Infrared Band Imaging
  • Infrared transparent acrylic parts: used for modifying cameras and special light paths

Key selection points

First confirm the telescope aperture and interface (1.25 inches/2 inches/built-in), then confirm the usage scenario (visual, color camera, or monochrome camera with filter wheel). The monochrome camera scheme usually requires a complete set of H α → O Ⅲ → S Ⅱ.
