Mirror focus adjustment effect
When the laser beam is perpendicular to the center of the mirror, the focusing quality is good. If the laser beam is tilted towards the mirror, the focusing quality will be greatly reduced, the focusing size will be significantly increased, and the optical power density will be greatly reduced, directly affecting the quality of power cutting.
We carefully checked the optical path of the lens and determined the laser incidence positions at the four corners. Only by meeting the standards can we ensure the stability of the laser processing power density during the entire aperture operation.
Secondly, use an optical path vertical calibrator to carefully adjust and inspect the reflecting mirror, so that the laser beam is incident on the focusing mirror at the vertical center of the lens barrel.
Prisms and reflectors in microscopes can usually be disassembled, their orientation can be adjusted, and after cleaning the ends, repair drill bits can be installed. But sometimes it is necessary to remove the mirror holder together to repair other parts. If there is no positioning pin on the mirror base, a steel needle should be used to mark z on the mirror base during disassembly to facilitate the repair effect of the system.
When the orientation of the prism or reflector is incorrect, the projection screen and field of view will experience uneven illumination, darkness without light, or partial obstruction of the field of view. When the degree of orientation abnormality is not significant, the imaging can still be clearly visible, but often accompanied by tilting or a trapezoidal shape.
The direction and illumination direction of the half mirror, parallel prism, and half pentagonal prism in a metallographic microscope. When the orientation of the half mirror deviates, the field of view inside the eyepiece will lose its circular shape and the brightness will be uneven. To restore the direction of the half mirror, three of the four headless positioning screws at the bottom of the bowl head device can be loosened, and the condenser can be fixed to the condenser lens with fingers to quietly change the left and right direction of the half mirror (i.e. the light analyzer).
