Where We Serve

Security and Infrared Imaging

850nm/940nm infrared narrowband filter, used for band selection in night vision monitoring, infrared touch and thermal imaging.

What do components in this industry have to carry

Security cameras have two sets of light paths during the day and night: they rely on infrared cutoff to ensure color during the day, and switch to infrared filters at night. In addition to the reliability of the switching mechanism, the filter should be narrowband gated around 850nm or 940nm to suppress environmental infrared interference such as street lights and sunlight, otherwise the image will appear foggy.

Common components

  • 850nm infrared narrowband filter: Combined with infrared fill light, the image brightness is higher
  • 940nm infrared narrowband filter: supplementary light invisible, suitable for concealed installation and close range scenes
  • Infrared transmission through acrylic parts: used for infrared touch frames and infrared windows
  • Wide band infrared filter: used for thermal imaging and infrared temperature measurement equipment

Key selection points

Mainly confirm three things: the wavelength of the fill light, the target and lens size of the camera, and the installation method (whether the filter switch is embedded or installed in front of the lens). The embedded switch has stricter requirements for thickness and dimensional tolerances.
